By 9.30 p.m., the room was heaving with the likes of Emma Roberts, Zoey Deutch, and Rachel Zegler air kissing and hanging out. On DJ duty, Eva Gutowski was more focused on dance floor-fillers instead of Christmas classics, much to the delight of model Georgia Fowler who shimmied by the booth. TikTok-famous faces focused their film camera efforts on capturing each other eating ginger bread cookies, while TV-famous faces Christopher Briney and Chiara Aurelia caught up with friends in a corner booth.
Not long after, guests were lured outside by the temptation of hot cider—both regular and spiked—to get ready for the tree’s big moment. At 10 p.m. on the button, its 50,000 LED lights and glowing Swarovski star topper finally ignited. “Look at her! She’s from the same town in Upstate New York as I am,” Alyssa Hardy, style director at Teen Vogue, told friends of the colossal Norway Spruce.
Proud as punch of his reimagined boutique, Kors said that the revamp has been a game-changer. “Everyone is getting facelifts it seems, so it was definitely time for the space to have one too,” he joked. “I can’t believe how much of a difference it has made. We’ve made it so much more open plan and welcoming, and even added a lounge area. People are staying for hours!”
