This evening, the 2025 Academy Museum Gala is underway in Los Angeles. Every year, the star-studded event raises funds for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, to help support its various exhibitions, education initiatives, and public programming. This year’s co-chairs are Jon M. Chu, Common, Viola Davis, Julius Tennon, Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey, Jennifer Hudson, and Alejandro Ramírez Magaña.
Tonight, a number of celebrities will also be honored with awards, including Penélope Cruz (Icon Award), Bruce Springsteen (Legacy Award), Walter Salles (Luminary Award), and Bowen Yang (Vantage Award). Before the ceremony begins, however, a parade of glamorous fashions will grace the red carpet. The 2024 gala played host to one of the most impactful red carpets of the year, with stars like Kendall Jenner, Nicole Kidman, Greta Lee, and more arriving in a mesmerizing array of runway, custom, and archival looks.
