There’s always been some pretty spectacular Knicks merch out there—I can’t be the only one thinking constantly of Lindsay Lohan’s Knick-tacular jersey and matching cap in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen as New York’s home basketball team advances to the NBA Finals—but Taylor Swift set a new standard for sartorial fandom at the Knicks vs. Spurs game on Wednesday, June 10 in a blue-and-orange T-shirt reading “Stevie Knicks.”
Swift is the kind of sports fan who generally rolls with a squad, and Game 4 of the NBA Finals was no different, as she was flanked by her longtime friends Este and Alana Haim in shirts reading “Knickelback” and “Knickole Kidman” (as well as Mariska Hargitay in a “Stevie Knicks” shirt that matched Swift’s.) Repping the Knicks while simultaneously celebrating the frontwoman of Fleetwood Mac, the most iconic divorced woman of all time, and Alberta’s premier ‘90s rock band? Now that’s my kind of sporty girls’ night out!

“We are going to get the energy up, it’s on us!” Swift shouted to Vogue as she returned to her seat during halftime on Wednesday night. Obviously, we’re frantically Googling “who made Taylor Swift Steve Knicks shirt” just like everyone else, but it appears Swift and her pals may have indulged in a little D.I.Y. and made their shirts themselves (or had them custom-made) Swift paired her shirt with Area jeans, a Dior bag and Versace heels, and honestly, who would expect anything less than a full and friend-accessorized ‘fit from the pop star on such a momentous night in Knicks history?
