Visit the fair: 14–17 May 2026 at Olympia, Kensington; London
Today marks the official opening of the eleventh edition of Photo London. As the UK’s leading photography fair, this year represents a significant milestone as it relocates to its new home at Olympia in Kensington. Set against the backdrop of a £1.3 billion redevelopment, the move provides the fair with an expanded footprint to explore the future of the medium while continuing its legacy of showcasing world-class photography.
Photo London 2026 features a strong international list of participants including several galleries
The Icon: Steven Meisel’s London Portraits
This year’s Master of Photography is the legendary Steven Meisel. Known for his prolific career—producing 28 Vogue covers in a single year—Meisel is presenting a rare exhibition of his graphically assured London portraits. The series captures the city’s 1990s anarchic fashion spirit and features icons he discovered, such as Stella Tennant.
Championing Inclusive Narratives
In its new, expanded home at Olympia, the fair deepens its commitment to under-represented voices:
- Autograph’s We Are the Ones We Have Been Waiting For: An exhibition of 17 women and non-binary artists, including Zanele Muholi and Carrie Mae Weems, who use photography to question identity and power.
- New Source Section: Curated by Tristan Lund, this section spotlights marginalized artists who have historically lacked institutional recognition.
- Global Discovery: The fair features strong South Asian representation and first-time participants from India and Africa, such as PHOTOINK and THK Gallery.
- Innovation and Emerging Talent The 2026 edition introduces a dedicated Film Screening room for artist-led films and continues to platform unrepresented talent through the Positions section and the Photo London x Nikon Emerging Photographer of the Year Award.
