There are a few telltale signs to look for that signal summer is right around the corner: The weather starts getting warmer, our allergies starting acting up—and Jennifer Lawrence starts hitting the streets of New York in her effortlessly-cool outfits.
Today in Manhattan, the Oscar-winning star stepped out in a classic transitional-season outfit. The ensemble was comprised of pieces that are half fall-minded, half summer-ready, and wholly stylish. Lawrence sported a brown buttoned-up cardigan with swishy floral-print trousers. On her feet? She revived one of last year’s viral summer shoes, The Row’s luxurious Dune flip-flops (retailing for $690), easily recognizable from their bright red sole. (Kendall Jenner and Zoe Kravitz are both fans of the hit sandal.)

While her lightweight pants and sandals read summery, Lawrence’s other accessories felt more in line with the fall season. Her tanned suede Dior “Diorly” bag, for one, clung onto cozy autumnal vibes, and featured a silver monogrammed shoulder strap.
Perhaps her most striking accessory of all, however, was her choice of necklaces: Her double wrapped black beaded necklace was immediately reminiscent of the little black chokers we all sported in 2016. (Yes, the Tumblr-approved kind that Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid used to wear.) Lawrence, it seems, is down with a decade-ago comeback. Can we expect to see her in the era’s khaki-green jacket or ripped skinny jeans next? If anyone can pull those off, it would certainly be her.
