The official Paris Fashion Week schedule is out, featuring one debut, one farewell, and a flurry of sophomore shows.
Altogether, the Fall/Winter 2026 women’s ready-to-wear calendar, which will run from March 2 to March 10, features 68 shows and 31 presentations — compared to 71 shows and 37 presentations during the Fall 2025 season.
While Spring 2026 saw an unprecedented wave of designer debuts, FW26 will see just one in Paris: Antonin Tron at Balmain. The Atlein founder will present his first collection for the French heritage house on March 4. Another highlight will be Pieter Mulier’s final show at Alaïa before he takes on the role of chief creative officer of Versace.
All eyes will also be on designers’ sophomore womenswear collections, including Jonathan Anderson’s at Dior (March 3), Mark Thomas’s at Carven (March 5), Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s co-ed show at Loewe (March 6), Miguel Castro Freitas’s at Mugler (also March 6), Pierpaolo Piccioli’s at Balenciaga (March 7), Duran Lantink’s at Jean Paul Gaultier (March 8), and Matthieu Blazy’s at Chanel (March 9). Off-White, which showed during New York Fashion Week last season, will return to the Paris schedule.
Rookies on the official show calendar are Ukrainian brand Litkovska and Georgian brand Situationist, while newcomers to the presentation calendar are Co, Eenk, and Time.
Notable absentees include Valentino, which is staging a show in Rome on March 12. The move “marks creative director Alessandro Michele’s homage to the origins and enduring heritage of Maison Valentino”, the house said in a statement, noting that it will rejoin the Paris calendar for its subsequent runway show.
Coperni is skipping the season altogether. In a statement, Coperni co-founders Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant said: “In 2019, we chose to partner with a distributor in order to support our growth. [But] Coperni no longer has the means to support its development. In this context, we have taken the decision not to stage a fashion show this season.” They added that this choice “reflects [their] determination to fully regain control of Coperni’s destiny”.
Meryll Rogge will show her namesake label during Paris Fashion Week Men’s in June, but before that, is presenting her debut show for Marni in Milan. Sacai is sitting out this season’s show schedule, presenting a lookbook for the women’s collection, instead. “March will be a transitional period,” the brand said, noting that it will return to the Paris Fashion Week calendar in June (men’s) and September (women’s). Further absentees are Maison Margiela, Vetements, Leonard, Casablanca, Christopher Esber, and Thom Browne, who will present his FW26 collection in San Francisco at the GQ Bowl on Friday.
