Since the very start of 2025, following the news of her engagement to Tom Holland, the world has been waiting with bated breath to see Zendaya in a wedding dress. Which designer will the bride-to-be choose? we’ve wondered. Well, now we have an answer—kind of.
On February 3, A24 released the first full-length trailer for her next movie, The Drama, following a couple whose wedding week goes off the rails. (A thrilling teaser preceded it in December.) Co-starring none other than Robert Pattinson, written and helmed by Kristoffer Borgli (Dream Scenario), and also featuring Alana Haim, Succession and Materialists’s Zoë Winters, Kinds of Kindness’s Mamoudou Athie, and Challengers’s Hailey Benton Gates, the film promises pre-nuptial dissonance, a very awkward wedding photo shoot, explosive blow outs, and, in one shot, blood pouring out of Pattinson’s nose and down his wedding suit.
And then there’s the dress: a strappy, wasp-waisted, floor-length, sleeveless number with a low back, accessorized with delicate ringlets and a full veil. Could it be a clue to Z’s ultimate choice? Only time will tell.
