After taking stock of the best-dressed stars on the 2026 Golden Globe Awards red carpet, and all the biggest winners of the night, our attention turned to another form of cultural capital: power couples. While Kylie Jenner once again skipped the red carpet (instead preferring to give her partner and Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy winner Timothée Chalamet his moment alone in the spotlight), there were plenty of other first-name couples on the step and repeat, from Amal and George, to Selena and Benny, and Priyanka and Nick.
Naturally, there were lots of touching shout-outs to significant others in this year’s acceptance speeches. Timothée, once again, made a sweet nod to Kylie (“For my parents, my partner, I love you”), following his gushing tribute at the Critics Choice Awards. If I Had Legs I’d Kick You star Rose Byrne thanked her husband Bobby Cannavale, despite him not being able to attend the ceremony due to him being at a “reptile expo in New Jersey.” Sentimental Value’s Stellan Skarsgård thanked his wife Megan for being “a brutal support, tough lover, and very educational.”
