Teen Vogue is joining Vogue.com, a transition that’s part of a broader push to expand the Vogue ecosystem. The title will remain a distinct editorial property, with its own identity and mission; sitting under the Vogue umbrella will provide a more unified reader experience across titles.
Chloe Malle, Vogue’s head of editorial content, who was appointed to the role in September, will now oversee Teen Vogue. Editor-in-chief Versha Sharma will be leaving the company.
“I remember when Teen Vogue launched, I read every page on the bus home from cross-country practice. I loved it then and I love and respect it now and am committed to continuing and supporting its point of view and sensibility,” says Malle.
As a dedicated pillar on Vogue, Teen Vogue will focus its content on career development, cultural leadership and other issues that matter most to young people, according to the publication.
Vogue reports that young readers are driving digital growth for the site, accounting for more than half of its social followers and YouTube audience. Initiatives like Vogue Fashion Summer School, which invites teens to New York for a two-week pre-college program, and the Teen Vogue Summit, which will continue annually, are helping drive awareness and recognition among the younger generation.

Teen Vogue’s transition to Vogue.com follows Vogue Business’s own move to the platform, which we also wrote about here. In bringing the three titles together onto the same platform, readers will get a more seamless experience. Vogue Business members will get access to all content, as well as Vogue Runway, plus a new members’ hub. Nicole Phelps, the global director of Vogue Runway and Vogue Business, has been promoted to oversee the Vogue fashion features team. Full resources and increased scale across all titles will also mean more visibility for advertisers and partners, according to the publisher.
