With 15 designer debuts, the spring 2026 season was always going to feel particularly novel. From Rachel Scott’s early vision for Proenza Schouler (though her official first show is in February) to Matthieu Blazy’s out-of-this-world Chanel show, fashion month proved one for the ages.
But there weren’t only new creative directors: there were fresh faces on the runways that caught our attention. This year—among the supermodels and former Vogue breakout models—we spotted 10 standouts on the catwalks from New York to Paris.
This wide-reaching group hails from all over the world: Ivy Stewart is from Kirriemuir, Scotland, while Athiec Geng calls Juba, South Sudan home. For others, fashion month was something of a homecoming: Luna Yohannan walked for Tory Burch and Coach in her NYC hometown, while model Charlie Jones hit the runway for Simone Rocha in his native United Kingdom.
The spring 2026 breakout class made great strides in its first season, many of them already bookending shows. Belgian model Marylore Heck opened Rabanne, while Yohannan closed; Canadian model Emaan Zishan offered us the very first look at Duran Lantink’s Jean Paul Gaultier. Noor Khan, who hails from Stockholm, proved a powerful presence on the runway, opening Khaite and closing Calvin Klein Collection and McQueen.
