When it comes to fashion weeks, the focus is typically on the shows—oh, and the afterparties, of course. Just as prominent, though perhaps less documented, are the dinners—long, lavish dinners. Last night, one of the ritziest of the week took place at, well, The Ritz, collaboratively hosted by the British Fashion Council and JW Anderson.
While the former London Fashion Week mainstay didn’t stage a show this season—the brand instead hosted appointments offering a glimpse into its fresh, conceptual approach at its decadently chic Soho store—this served as an opportunity to celebrate its founder Jonathan Anderson, arguably one of the most decorated designers in the biz right now.
