Lauren Sánchez-Bezos and Jeff Bezos have spent their summer super yachting, and Sánchez-Bezos had the wardrobe to match. Think: clingy Cavalli dresses in sherbet tones, beachy accessories via Dior, corsets and Sophia Loren-inspired silhouettes by Dolce & Gabbana. Husband Jeff, meanwhile, stuck to his own formula of chinos, polos, and brown desert boots. Amid their glitzy parties, Lauren’s jaunt to Cannes, and boat stop-offs in Ibiza, Portofino, Monaco, and more, rarely did the recently married couple look like they were attending the same event. Lauren, the maximalist and corseted, Jeff, the ever-tech bro.
But it’s amid New York Fashion Week that the couple seem to have finally hit on their sartorial meeting point. Stepping out in the city for the EE72 Magazine launch party at The Cut restaurant, Sánchez-Bezos wore a silvery mini slip dress, with a chocolate brown leather jacket with wide lapels and black buttons floating loosely around her shoulders. On her feet, a pair of perspex heels, and jewelry that included silver hoop earrings and a charm necklace. She wore her brunette hair loose and long. Bezos, meanwhile, opted for a similarly shiny, midnight blue suit with close-fitting tailored trousers and a matching shirt, with black patent Oxford shoes and his favorite aviators.
