Hailey Bieber’s Coachella Weekend 2 Manicure Holds a Secret Tribute to Justin

At weekend two of Coachella, Hailey Bieber is here to remind you: while husband Justin has Swag, she does, too. Manicure swag, to be exact.

Bieber’s Coachella weekend one nail art was a study in summer party vibes: a black base with bright florals that glow in the dark. (Although this isn’t her first time embracing the day-glo at Coachella, for the record.) For weekend two, though, the look appeared much more pared back, but woven with hidden symbolism.

“Each and every nail had its own meaning,” nail artist Zola Ganzorigt tells Vogue of the manicure. “We decided on pink with black dots representing the Swag 1 and 2 albums, green with yellow inspired by the Brazilian flag, and red with white inspired by the Canadian flag.”

The beauty entrepreneur and model brought a reference photo to Ganzorigt, and from there, the two chose nine different OPI shades to complete the look—shades included Mod About You, Makeout-Side, Silicon Valley Girl, and Blue Them All Away. For the base of the French manicure, Ganzorigt used OPI’s Put It In Neutral. “The meaning behind each nail is what makes it the perfect Bieberchella manicure,” Ganzorigt affirms.

Last year in the desert for Coachella, Bieber paired her burgundy leather Mugler corset with matching sharp, wine-colored talons. And whether it’s daisy nail art with diamanté details in springtime, navy blue to mark the arrival of baby Jack, or lemontini talons and cinnamon chrome to celebrate a new product launch, over the years, Hailey Bieber has proved that she loves to play with a theme.
