New York Fashion Week wrapped up with a week of looks that delighted in Americana aesthetics, the maximal and the quietly luxe, and the super femme—backstage beauty followed suit, and we’ll continue to be on the look out for fashion’s best hair and makeup across London, Milan, and Paris. The 2025 Emmys also kicked off the forthcoming season of starry red carpet beauty moments, among them, winner Hannah Einbinder’s mid-night haircut. It was a good week for nail art too, from Gap sweater-inspired sets to baby bejewelled numbers that feel right for fall. It was also The Summer I Turned Pretty finale—sob—where Belly got a bob. From Gracie Abrams to Hunter Schafer, Leomie Anderson, and Meg Stalter—hair and glam was dramatic, playful, and poreless.
