It’s the first public outing of the newly engagement couple, who announced their news on Instagram on August 26. Swift and Kelce were photographed attending a college football game that saw the Cincinnati Bearcats face off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Arrowhead Stadium yesterday (August 28) in Kansas City. Kelce (cheering on his alma mater, the Bearcats) and Swift were joined in the suite by Kelce’s teammate and friend Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes, as well as Kelce’s brother and podcasting partner Jason Kelce.
When we’ve previously seen Swift head to Arrowhead to support the Chiefs, she’s usually sported looks nodding to the team colors. This time, though, she forwent the red in favor of a bride-to-be appropriate “something blue”: Swift wore a cream Ralph Lauren cable knit sleeveless sweater, paired with a pleated denim mini skirt from Balenciaga, a Celine mini 16 bag in cornflower blue, and cream knee length heeled boots from Louis Vuitton. Of course, she also showed off her engagement ring. It features a sparkling, elongated brilliant-cut old mine diamond, bezel-set in yellow gold with filigree detail work on the side of the band, which Kelce designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.
