The Odyssey press tour has officially set sail, but fear not—it won’t last nearly as long as Odysseus’s 10-year journey home.
Anne Hathaway, who plays Odysseus’s homebound wife, Penelope, is well prepared for the media blitz. The actor, who recently announced her third pregnancy, wasted no time with high-octane maternity style. This week, she arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City dressed in a cherry red jumpsuit from New York cult favorite brand Ashlyn, a ruffled drop-waist peplum emphasizing her bump. (Hathaway, who wore the jumpsuit backwards, poked fun at herself—and the eagle-eyed fashion media—on social media.)
Later in the day, Hathaway, styled by Erin Walsh, opted for another look from Ashlyn, trading the jumpsuit for separates—a similar sleeveless peplum tank and matching La Ligne trousers. The pants seem to be a favorite of the press tour—the following day she wore the navy colorway with a knit Brunello Cucinelli blazer, Alaïa fishnet ballet flats, and angular Bvlgari Serpenti sunglasses.
Though she plays a mortal, Hathaway embraced ethereal, goddess dressing in London. At the photocall, the actor opted for an ultra-contemporary boho look from Blumarine’s resort 2027 collection, a tendrily white halter dress that she paired with knee-high suede Gianvito Rossi boots. But at the film’s London premiere, she went for maximum glamour, draping her bump in an ethereal sky blue pleated gown from Dior.
Hathaway delivered her most on-theme look to date at the Paris premiere. Abandoning her primary colors streak, she donned a rich chocolate empire waist gown with a ruffled leather bodice and a flowing silk plissé skirt from Louis Vuitton. Penelope would be proud.
