Victoria and David Beckham Switch Up Their Style For Summer Vacation

Let the lavish celebrity summer vacations begin! This weekend, Victoria and David Beckham touched down on the island of Ibiza for a little R&R, where the couple was joined by daughter Harper, son Romeo, and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull—making their island getaway a true family affair.

The Beckhams were spotted all departing Jondal together, a waterfront hotspot-slash-restaurant where VIP celebrities arrive and depart exclusively by boat. (Other celebrities who have been seen at the scenic beach club? Fellow celebrity couples like Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti, and Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, among many others.) And while we could only imagine what the rest of their chic Ibiza itinerary includes, we’re still stuck on one thing: How the Beckhams are doing vacation style.

The pair embraced a more effortless, easy-breezy fashion vibe for their summer trip. Talk about a dramatic switch-up from their signature looks. Victoria donned a brown, floral-printed chiffon summer dress for the outing, paired with brown leather Hermès sandals and an oversized rope-strapped tote. David, meanwhile, went monochromatic in gray—from the tee to the shorts, which he accessorized with a little brimmed straw chapeau.

Typically, it’s safe to say the Beckhams are much more buttoned-up in their sartorial approach: David loves himself a tailored three-piece suit, while Victoria typically dons her own designs, from streamlined dresses to elegant suits. Their off-duty summer looks, however, were all about casual nonchalance.

Can you imagine seeing Posh Spice herself roll up next to you on the sandy beach, in a pair of pool slides and a bohemian dress? We would have to do a double-take to confirm it’s her—it’s certainly a far cry from those little black Gucci dresses she wore in the ’90s. But that’s kind of what vacation style is all about—trading in your daily garb in favor of pieces that are a little more relaxed. But leave it to them to still make off-the-clock dressing look super chic.
