Sharon Stone knows exactly how to play it on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
For the world-premiere screening of Cristian Mungiu’s Fjord on Monday, the 68-year-old actor and artist worked with stylist Paris Libby, selecting a sparkling embroidered gown and coordinating cape from Miss Sohee’s spring 2026 couture collection. But while all eyes were on the dress—and the 2.02 carat, bluish-green diamond by Garatti High Jewelry around her neck—we couldn’t help but notice her glam.
Makeup artist Aaron Paul opted for mauve tones on the eyes, while hairstylist Gui kept things simple yet elegant. Slicking back Stone’s bixie (the perfect bob-pixie hybrid, for those unfamiliar), Gui artfully blended her silvery grays into her dark blonde hair.
Stone has been a longtime advocate for embracing and celebrating aging. Last year, she spoke to the Times of London about how her body had changed in her 60s: “I joke that my underarms have pleats now. I think, ‘Well, I had beautiful arms and now they’re strong and painting and like angel wings. So what if they have pleats? Maybe that’s what makes them wonderful now.’”
It seems Stone has landed on a cool and easy hairstyle that works for any coloring—whether you’re au naturel or testing out techniques like gray blending or French blending. Talk about staying timeless.
