Yesterday, the pair went for sushi at trendy hotspot Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills and, with their matching outfits and clasped hands, the model-Internet personality duo telegraphed to the world that they’re totally in sync.
While the two may have exchanged a “what are you wearing?” text, they each offered their own take on the California classic: a white shirt and blue jeans. Gerber opted for a halter top with a draped cowl-neck and an open back, which she styled with low-slung indigo jeans, thin black ballet flats, gold hoop earrings, and wraparound tortoiseshell shades.

Shane, meanwhile, kept it simple in a long-sleeve tee, medium-wash jeans, and sneakers. He showed support for his pal Gerber’s high-minded literary endeavors, repping her book club, “Library Science,” on his baseball cap.
But the most telling sign of their friendship wasn’t the coordinating outfits or Shane’s supportive headwear, but the duo’s matching bags. Both the model and the Therapuss host toted THE bag of the moment: the burgundy, grained-leather Chanel Maxi Flap bags from Matthieu Blazy’s debut collection, each of which fetches a cool $9,300.
