The spring 2026 couture shows have begun in Paris—and leave it to the Dior presentation today to have one of the most star-studded front rows. Such A-listers as Greta Lee, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rihanna all touched down to witness designer Jonathan Anderson’s first couture collection for the French label.
All eyes may have been on the voluminous, intricately-made designs that Anderson sent down the Dior catwalk, but even the most veteran of fashion insiders could not help but be star-struck by Rihanna sitting in the front row. (Duh—it’s Rihanna.) The superstar, naturally, leaned into a statement look for the occasion, pairing a sheer polka-dotted dress—tied with a giant bow at the neckline—with a tailored double-breasted coat.
Wondering why the all-black ensemble may feel. . . a bit familiar? It bore a striking resemblance to one of her most iconic maternity looks from a few years back. In 2022, Rihanna made waves when she attended the fall 2022 Dior show in Paris while expecting her first child, son RZA. At the time, she donned a sheer black babydoll Dior dress that exposed her bra and briefs underneath—an edgy, subversive take on maternity dressing which she has now made her calling card.
