With Jennifer Lawrence’s most recent look on my mind, I was listening to an episode of the podcast Ride in which Mary Beth Barone declared: “There’s nothing harder than dating a straight man looking to buy a leather jacket,” before going on to outline the trials and tribulations of the hunt. “It’s about the shape, it’s about the color, it’s too much.” And honestly, I must agree. The quest for the perfect leather jacket is an elusive one, no matter who you are. Do you go Tom Cruise in Top Gun, or lean into a little Danny Zuko energy?
